Alba BG DTYIS challenge drawing steps

As you may already be aware, there is a trend well spread in the little world of illustration known as "DTIYS". But what does this... "word" mean ? Is it greek ? morse code ? or could it be a satanic spell ???!!!!!! None of that ! It actually means "Draw This In Your Style". Every then in a while, someone will propose to his community to partake in this challenge of drawing a same subject in their own style. This time, it was the spanish artist Alba BG who offered this opportunity. It was quite fun and helped me try new possibilities I wasn't aware of : I drew the lineart on a cardboard and then took a picture of it to add colors through procreate without having to draw again the lineart. It added an interesting texture although it was tricky to pick colors.
